Mark Walker, MS, LMFT, AAMFT 818-3470  864-0977

Mark is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.  He works with individuals, couples, and families. He has taught parenting classes and anger management classes for seven years and has worked with a variety of clientele involving marriage counseling, domestic and family violence issues, sexual abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, trauma and post traumatic stress disorders, as well as grief recovery.  He adopts an experiential approach to therapy while utilizing basic cognitive techniques. Mark accepts private pay, out of network insurance, and a sliding fee scale is available.  Mark is in the process of becoming paneled with most major insurance companies and EAP’s.  If he is not on your plan, you can contact your insurance carrier and ask for a special agreement to be seen by him during the process of his becoming credentialed. After hours and Saturday appointments are available.

Jeff believes the potential for growth and healing already is within the individual. Therapy helps people remove blocks that limit their growth. Individuals can nurture and cultivate these natural tendencies towards the full expression of their individuality.  People can experience greater fulfillment in their personal life and relationships through the counseling process.  Mr. Klein is a graduate of the University of North Texas and specializes in play therapy and has published professional papers and book chapters in this area.  He has also developed curriculum on parenting. He provides individual counseling as well as marital and family counseling. Other services include consultation for business and other organizations. He provides supervision of LPC interns. He is accepting new clients and accepts most insurance and is a provider for many of the local Employ Assistance Programs (EAP).

Jenna has over 20 years of experience working with people going through changes in their lives, which can cause anxiety depression or difficulties in relationships or career. It is her belief that we often can grow the most during hard times and stress, and that these times can be turned into opportunities for growth.  Her sessions balance nurturing and challenging her clients in order to help them release their fears and tap into their inner strengths.  Jenna accepts some insurance plans, EAP’s, private pay, and a sliding scale fee is available.

Jean’s first calling in life was to marry her high school sweetheart and to dedicate herself to being a wife and a mother to three extraordinary and sometimes very challenging sons.  With her nest empty, she looked to God to guide her into her next life endeavor, which was to prepare to help others.  For over 17 years, Jean has relied on God and the Holy Spirit to bring change and healing into the peoples’ lives in the therapeutic setting.  She has worked extensively with troubled teens and their families and she now particularly enjoys working with individual adults and couples.  Her clinical areas of expertise include:  relationship issues, as well as individual challenges which include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, life stressors, the art of aging gracefully, anger, co-dependency, addiction, parenting, job problems, spiritual concerns and life transition issues.  She especially has reached out and helped many law enforcement families, military families and couples and families who work in the ministry.  Jean is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is a clinical member in good standing with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT).  Her life motto is:  To God be the glory!   Jean has appointments available in the evening and on Saturdays.

Amy is a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology.  She received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and has been working with children and families for over ten years.  She began her career in the school setting and is experienced in assessments, including autism and bilingual evaluations.  Besides assessments for children, she has experience with bariatric, adoption, and other court-ordered evaluations.   Amy also works with children and families on parenting, step-parenting, adjustment issues, relationship issues, addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, and anyone trying to make a change in their lives.   Other services include consultation and presentations.  She accepts most insurance and is credentialed with several EAP panels.

Jim has worked with adolescents and their parents for 15 years as a middle school teacher, high school teacher and high school counselor. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor and a Certified School Counselor. He believes that counseling should be respectful and non-blaming and that problems are separate from the individual. People are the experts in their own lives and Jim works with them to help reduce the influence of problems in their lives. Jim accepts some insurance plans, EAP’s, private pay and a sliding fee scale is also available.  He is accepting new clients and is available by appointment.

Joan is a Licensed Professional Counselor, an Educational Diagnostician, and a Certified School Counselor. She provides counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Joan is EMDR trained. She adopts a solution focused approach to therapy in addition to basic cognitive and behavioral techniques designed to help clients achieve emotional regulation and stress reduction. She also has extensive training and experience in play therapy, filial therapy, sand tray therapy, as well as providing therapeutic parent education to parents and other caregivers. Joan is in the process of becoming paneled with most major insurance companies. She is accepting new clients. Private pay and sliding scale fees are available. Evening and Saturday appointments can be scheduled.

Marilyn has over fourteen years experience working with individuals, couples, troubled juveniles, and the elderly.  Her areas of specialty include: sexual abuse matters, maternity counseling, and aging/adjustment issues.  She utilizes insight therapy, relationship therapy, and supportive care in serving individuals and couples.  Marilyn will be accepting most major insurance companies, employee assistance programs, as well as private pay, and a sliding fee scale will be available.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Martha provides counseling for young children through adults.  Martha counseled in Texas schools for 23 years, and has worked with hundreds of families.  In private practice for eight years, she uses expressive therapies in a supportive relationship. She specializes in family issues, abuse, grief and loss, ADHD, anxiety, divorce, depression and adolescent issues. Martha is currently paneled with most major insurance companies and accepts Employee Assistance programs, private pay, and sliding scale fees.

Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Certified  Clinical Hypnotherapist, trained Mediatorand facilitates in the collaborative divorce process.  She utilizes a client centered approach with cognitive and behavioral techniques including EMDR and mindful techniques.  She is experienced in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. Stephanie provides services to individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in adolescent, adjustment, and women’s issues, as well as relationship conflict.  Stephanie accepts most major insurance, EAP’s, private pay and a sliding fee scale is available.

Jan has over 17 years experience counseling within the public school system (Pre-K-12), working within the many and varied family systems which make up our diverse community.  She brings with her rich life experiences as she provides therapeutic guidance to others.  Jan is a cancer survivor, a single parent, and a caregiver for her aging parents.  She looks to God for direction not only for herself but for each person HE leads through her door.  Jan will be accepting clients on a sliding fee scale under the Supervision of Stephanie Jeffries , MS, LPC-S.  Evening and Saturday appointments are available.

As the owner of  Medical Billing Solutions, Stephanie based her company on the technology background she was accustomed to after working for one of the largest computer companies for over 10 years. She is currently licensed with state of the art software and electronic data interface lines which allow clean claims to reach direct insurance portholes without going through a third party clearinghouse. MBS writes custom billing contracts that meet your practice needs and is willing to accept overflow claims to help reduce staff time in the office.
